To hack is to create things that you always wanted to create, but that no-one else has built before. It's to come up with an amazing idea and work tirelessly on it. It is to fail, to fail again, and to fail better. It's to try out new things, to venture outside of your comfort zone, and to learn while doing that. It's to work together, to collaborate and to build things that are innovative. It is to be a better programmer.

To that end, we're organizing the first iteration of our hackathon - uOttaHack 2018 - and we invite all developers and hackathon enthusiasts to participate for an engaging and fulfilling experience!
